Bristol Victorio
When we began breeding Welsh Ponies over thirty years ago, it was difficult to find a Section B of good size, substance, and quality with a Section B pedigree. It was our good fortune to purchase a beautiful bay colt from Cherry Wilson of Bristol Pony Farm in Texas. This young colt was to become the foundation of our Section B breedng program and also change forever the look of the Welsh not only here in the NW but also across the country. Now, years later, many of the best ponies we have produced go back to this great stallion. They include many Champions and Supreme Champions, ponies who excelled in the Welsh World but didn't stop there. Evans ponies and Victorio decendants have influenced the American Section B and have made their mark in countless breeding programs, in the hunter world, and as competitive Sport Ponies. We still own three Victorio daughters, most notably Evans Bram Stoker. Bram is the dam of many outstanding ponies, including Sup. Ch. Evans The Prophet and Evans Providence Of The Night.
